Deepening Impact: Developing Strategy in Service of Community

As the marketing and communications lead at Hacienda CDC from September 2021 to February 2024, key efforts were made to elevate the organization's visibility and engagement. External communications were managed, brand messaging and visual identity were upgraded, and event planning was spearheaded for major events, including the annual Comunidad Viva fundraiser and a convention-style resource fair, reaching over 15,000 people. These efforts strengthened partnerships, brand recognition, and client experience.

Video production, storytelling, and cross-departmental promotions enhanced brand image and program visibility, leading to increased earned media coverage and a 16% rise in social media engagement. Website and internal portal enhancements improved user experience and productivity, while the launch of Hacienda’s Community Card doubled client engagement.
