Launching Community Resources with Verizon
For the Verizon Community Learning Centers, a partnership between Hacienda CDC and Verizon, a successful marketing strategy was developed for the launch of three new learning centers in Portland—one of only four cities chosen nationwide.
Key support was provided for grand opening events, including stakeholder invitations, event programming, and media outreach, resulting in increased enrollment and community interest. The promotional strategy led to local press mentions and was adopted by Verizon for future nationwide learning center promotions. Compelling content and social media engagement increased community awareness and support for the learning centers.
